He said, “We could end those Muslims before they walk in.” He added, “Let’s teach them a lesson if they ever show up here.”

As reported by Lynchburg news & advance, Falwell met with rousing applause from students, but some said it wasn’t right to be referring specifically to Muslims.

He said to the associated press that he was specifically referring to Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik who shot and killed more than 10 people during a holiday party in a Southern California office building on Wednesday.

He said, “I’ve always thought if more good people had concealed carry permits, then we could end those Muslims before they walked in” and added, “There are many good Muslims, many good moderate Muslims.”
