‘Christmas in Washington’ has been cancelled after 33 years!

After more than five administrations and three decades “Christmas in Washington”, a holiday packed with celebrity and special attended by first family of US , won’t be returning for it’s 34th holiday season.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who has hosted last years show, TNT announced that there won’t be a longer broadcast for the Christmas special, calling off a 15-year -old partnership with old producer George Stevens Jr. and his son, Michael. The Stevens has announced that they were in search of a new broadcast partner but unfortunately, the new broadcast partner was never found and 2014’s broadcast was the last broadcast.

“Christmas In Washington” is like a pageant on steroids which began in the year of 1982. The night was filled with marquee musical acts such as  Earth, Wind & Fire, Tim McGraw, Gloria Estefan, Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey, who crooned Christmas classics on stage while the first family and other Washington VIPs sang along from the audience.
